Our little Henry turned one at the end of April, and we all had fun making the day special for him.
At first, he really wasn't sure about the cupcake/candle/fire.
Really unsure.
He got over that pretty quickly, though.
The icing was his favorite. He really loved eating and squishing it.
He kept handing it to me, then grabbing it back and eating some more. Over and over again.
This is the best picture ever. I think every little brother or sister has felt what Henry is conveying here in this picture. "I thought it was MY birthday?"
